A reminder that the Boston Social Media Club Inaugural Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 2 at 6pm in the Colonnade Hotel’s Boston Ballroom (yes, we finally have a room!). We’ve had very strong interest in the event, so there should be a good showing!

Two bits of good news!

1. In addition to Chris Heuer (and hopefully the SNCR’s Jen McClure will be able to stop by as well), we’ll have folks from local social media pioneers ProxPro and Podcast.com, who’ve agreed to take just a couple minutes each to talk about their initiatives. This is the point of this group–to get people together in the same room and share what they’ve learned and what they’re doing in the social media space.

Please drop me a line at tvanhoosear@topazpartners.com if you’d like to contribute (even if it’s just a minute or two) or if you know someone who should be there. We’re hoping to be well represented by content creators, technology providers, communication professionals, journalists and of course consumers! (I’ll post an updated agenda next week.)
