I finally got to meet you!

I haven’t had a chance to post a damn thing about Wednesday’s and Thursday’s events outside of my “official” capacities as an “organizer” or something of the Boston Social Media “group.” So here goes…
I finally got to meet F2F:
- Chris Heuer – Nice photography!
- Kristie Wells – Thanks for getting me in trouble with my wife on the phone!
- Constantin Basturea – Finally, we met! You’re a real PR pioneer, and I’m very happy to see all is well, especially with the gig at Converseon.
- Jen McClure – Even nicer in person than on the phone, which is hard to believe.
- Mike Manuel – A longtime reader. Mike walks the talk when it comes to transparency and authenticity of voice, which is a nice way to say golly, he gets away with swearing!
- Steve Garfield – I agree: you should’ve gotten a Vloggy! Oh, and here’s another plug for the Boston Media Makers group!
- David Parmet – Anybody who can pick up on an obscure movie reference to Liquid Sky is okay in my book.
Glad to have met you all finally, and everyone else who came…

Aw shucks, Todd, so good to meet you too! And, thanks so much for your support of our event.
It was indeed wonderful to meet so many smart, amazing and interesting people. I always feel energized and humbled at our events. There are a lot of great and knowledgable folks doing really cool things in this space.
But I think my favorite part of meeting you was when we decided to sing really loudly to the Pearl Jam and Pink Floyd songs that the band was playing at that bar (probably not the favorite part of the evening for the band or the other patrons though, but SO fun, and a much-needed release after a long couple of days!)

How could I forget Todd Defren (except subconsciously)! We got to spend a little time after the event together, shared a couple laughs and a Highlander reference!
Todd, thanks for supporting the Social media Club, and for your leadership and initiative surrounding the social media press release!
