What if everybody in the world could read your pitch?

“If PR people were forced to do their work in public their entire method would change.” So said Robert Scoble on Twitter yesterday (he also said he’s pretty much given up on e-mail, but that’s a different story for a different day).
PR people, if you had to do your job constantly under the microscope of public purview, would you do it any differently (be honest now)? Is Scoble right?
