Boston (and Philly!) blogging havens
August 14th, 2007 by Todd Van Hoosear
Take that, Silicon Valley! Boston and Philly had an average of 89 and 88 blog posts per 100,000 residents, respectively, in March and April according to a Globe report today. The two “bloggiest” cities were more than 35 posts ahead of the nearest competition (Pittsburgh!).
Surprised? I was a little–pleasantly. But the article reminds us that “all politics is local,” and we have well-connected, well-educated communities of folks at just the right age range (college and graduate/professional) to make the numbers work in our favor! (That doesn’t explain Philly though–no offence.)
