What Steve– and the info below–don’t say is that PodCamp Boston 2 will possibly triple last year’s 300+ attendance. Quite a feat– a testament to the organization, featuring superheroes such as Chris Brogan, Christopher Penn, Bryan Person, as well as the aforementioned Mr. Garfield and a host of others. Also, it is a testament to the strength of Boston as a city that understands social media and makes it work.

What do I look forward to this year? I hope to see “new media” recognized as a part of “all media,” and a recognition from the corporate and mainstream media worlds, without the loss of the community spirit that helps events like the PodCamps thrive.
