According to the Pub Club’s Website, “Since 1969, the Publicity Club of New England’s Bell Ringer Awards have been a symbol of outstanding achievement for New England public relations and communications professionals. The Bell Ringer Awards recognize excellence in communications and public relations work in every field and industry, and across all media - print, broadcast, and online.”

Congratulations to the Scuderi Team and all the winners of the 2008 Bell Ringer Awards!

    Congrats!

I was there last night and had a blast (I was one of the Platinum Sponsors … you might remember my adorable, tiny, pregnant boss who gave a speech at the beginning!)

Congratulations to Susan, who put the application together, and the Scuderi team for doing such great work!

I appreciated certain aspects of the event but wish more had been focused on a few compelling stories. The sheer volume of awards, merits and associated recognitions is truly mind-numbing

Despite an incredibly earnest but lengthy introduction, I thought Steve and Paula Mae Schwartz had a great story to tell that anyone could learn from (PR executive or not, married, single or otherwise). Their speeches were the highlight of an event that frankly felt like it otherwise went way too long.

I would have appreciated a photo, video and clips retrospective of the Schwartz team going back to their earliest days (and hairstyles).

I truly appreciate the honor of these awards and all the care and deliberation that goes into the selection process.

The honors process produces enough substance that the awards night itself could be made more interesting.
